Octoba Yoga – The Idea
For October, we’re turning up the chill and rolling out the mats—think oceanfront yoga flows, guided meditation, sound baths, breathwork sessions, and more. Why? Well, because we love yoga and the mindfulness that surrounds us here. Yoga happens all year round but during Octoba the focus on Yoga draws a set of people who are definitely on the same page.

Niedra Gabriel
29th September – 18th Otober 2025
With over four decades of experience, Niedra Gabriel has dedicated herself to the teaching of Pilates and Yoga, empowering students and teachers to develop a deeper,more creative understanding of their practice. Niedra’s extensive knowledge of the body and its movement potential is enriched by her background in diverse fields such as fascial release work, circus arts, dance, bodywork, nutrition, meditation, and the study of the mind. This interdisciplinary approach allows her to help clients with injuries, technical challenges and aging issues.
Lisa Thomasson
20th – 31st October
With over 20 years of experience in movement, health, and wellness, Lisa brings a unique blend of knowledge and expertise to every class. Formerly (and until very recently) a practising Chiropractor, she has an in-depth understanding of the body’s mechanics, which are integral to every posture and transition in a yoga/movement practice and which she uses to help her students move with more awareness, grace, and ease. Furthermore, her years as a Chiropractor combined with the knowledge gained during her first degree in Psychology have deepened her understanding of the powerful connection between mind and body, recognising how emotional well-being affects the physical body and vice versa.
Having once struggled with limited flexibility and stiffness herself following her earlier years as a full-time rower, she intimately understands the challenges of tightness within the body (and the many reasons for this: genetic, physical, emotional, neurological) and the freedom that comes with breaking through those barriers.
Lisa’s classes are designed to be fun, playful, and appropriately challenging. They include a sprinkling of light spirituality and undertones of life coaching, guiding students on a journey of physical, emotional, and mental growth.
Although predominantly known for her Vinyasa classes, in more recent years, Lisa has also found great love for Inside Flow(TM) – a wonderful blend of yoga, movement, and breath to music. Inside Flow invites you to embrace your body’s natural rhythm as you move through a sequence, usually to a song that you know, all on the rhythm of the breath and to the beat of the music. It’s hard not to leave an Inside Flow class without the ‘Inside Flow Glow’! She looks forward to sharing these movement styles and more with you at StolenTime, St Lucia.




Cheserae Scala and Eric Baumgartner
6th -17th October
Cheserae Scala and Dr. Eric Baumgartner are a husband-and-wife healing team who combine the wisdom of the ancient Eastern medicine traditions of yoga and Chinese medicine with the insights of Western functional and bio-terrain medicine to create a truly unique approach to holistic well-being. They are the co-founders of Alquimia Wellness in Ojai and are honored to be a part of the inspiring offerings at Stolen Time in Sta. Lucia.
Cheserae has a long history of competitive gymnastics, therapeutic movement and dance, holistic skincare and aesthetics, and natural product development. Since founding Alquimia, her focus has shifted to teaching yoga using the tools she gathered from Kundalini and Yin traditions. She has developed a style that targets the overworked, undernourished nervous system and offers a deep reset that is gentle and accessible to all body types. She also works as an end-of-life midwife, supporting families and training others to restore sacredness and dignity to the dying process.
Dr. Eric Baumgartner is trained as an Eastern medicine physician. He practices acupuncture and herbalism in tandem with integrative Functional Medicine to provide comprehensive whole-person care for his patients both in person and online around the world. He offers online educational programs on how to regenerate the Bioterrain of our bodies for lasting health and well-being in the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of our lives.
Cheserae and Eric are both facilitators of Pneuma Transpersonal Training and Pneuma Breathwork, which offers a space to experience the inherent connection that each human being has to their inner divine nature.
